Welcome to the United Lucas Terrier Association (ULTA) website.

We are a resource for those who already own or are interested in owning a Lucas Terrier, along with supporting these special dogs and their owners in the many activities at which they excel. Our mission statement captures our goals:

"The United Lucas Terrier Association’s mission is to preserve the standard of the dog breed developed by Sir Jocelyn Lucas in the early 20th century and which bears his name. We honor past efforts to promote the breed and build upon this legacy by providing education about the history of the Lucas and related terriers. ULTA assists owners and prospective owners with breeding and pedigree matters and prioritizes healthy dogs that embody the Lucas Terrier’s traditional good looks and even temperament, intelligence and sporting ability."
